Midnight In the Garden of Rawk and Roll: A visit From The Screaming Cherry Blossoms!

Alissa and I: First Hug!

Alissa: Punk Rock Goddess

You betcha, they came all the way from Minnesota, just to see us!!!!!!! Alissa author of Punk Rawk Labs blog, one of my top fav blogs, is the lead singer of The Screaming Cherry Blossoms.

Her other half, Mr. Tom Herbers and the undeniably charming Joel Lederer   joined in the fun, driving all the way to Au lac for raw food fun and laughs!

Up Way Past Our Bedtime...Hubby and I

We started out at the Echo Curio, a small club in Echo Park. After hugs and greetings, Alissa got me some earplugs and all was groovy!

Cute Art at Echo Curio

What a cool space it was, full of fun art and scenesters of all descriptions, including these two..

Alissa and Warner

Warner and I took off after the screaming cherry blossoms set, with the promise of an Au Lac meetup the next day. We had some "Dexter" time, trying to catch  up, we are on season one!
ssshhhhhhhhh, we're three seasons behind.......

Next day, The Blossoms set foot in our humble home and met Malcolm the wonder dog... he was very extra excited to meet them all!

He Just looks bookish...Malcolm the Wonder Dog

Then we took off for Au Lac, home of Chef Ito, the master of Raw and vegan food. Feast your eyes on the eats! Basically, we all stuffed ourselves and loved every bite, even Miss Sam!

Joel and Tom had a hard time choosing from the long list of lovely items...

No Au Lac meal is complete without The Rainbow Fantasy dessert

Here's Hoping that TSCB will come back very soon!

When we got back to our house, Alissa and Sam teamed up to make this otherworldly raw strawberry ice cream. Take a look at their collaboration!

Yeah, it looks almost as fantastic as it tasted..
Thanks to TSCB for the very fun visit, come back soon now,  ya hear?
LOVE
deb, Sam and Malcolm, dog of wonder and eternal calm
